Greenwood Lake, NY. In a Municipal Complex dedication, held at the Village of Greenwood Lake, October 30th, Mayor Barbara Moore honored Green Energy Act as the Village’s partner with respect to energy efficiency projects. The event celebrated the Mayor’s tireless efforts to move the Village of Greenwood Lake forward on the green front. It concluded months of construction, resulting in a Stormwater Project which will take care, once and for all, of the stormwater issue in front of village hall and neighboring streets.
Funding for the project was provided by the Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009, part of which was dedicated for a wind study at the village, conducted by Green Energy Act, exploring wind energy harvesting feasibility. As Greenwood Lake’s energy efficiency partner, Green Energy Act also provides special discounted rates for local businesses and residents (from both Greenwood Lake and Warwick) interested in going green (visit www.GreenGreenwoodlake.com). Such project include efficient lighting (e.g. LED), geothermal and PV, as well as wind and insulation. Most if not all projects have a Return of Investment (ROI) of 2-8 years and include incentive and/or financing.
October 2010. Green Energy Act is excited to announce the opening of a new office to handle activities in Europe and the Middle-East. The new office will serve also as a liaison to the developing energy markets in Asia. This addition to our fast-growing operations is located in Israel, a hotbed for Green technologies. Among other activities, this office is set to handle energy efficiency improvement projects on the industrial, commercial and institutional side as well as installations of a variety of sustainable energy solutions. Our new location, supplemental to our USA operations, is perfectly positioned to identify new and emerging sustainable and high-efficiency technologies, and bring those to market in the USA and elsewhere. Green Energy Act is currently working on government grants and funds for geothermal technologies as well as kinetic energy on both sides of the ocean. For more information please contact us.
